Welcome to Term 3! 'A World Of Difference'.

'A World Of Difference'

Welcome back to Term 3!

Every term we start off with an immersion assembly and we get to  know  what we are going to be learning for the term and this term it's all about 'A World Of Difference'. Learning new things all around the world and everything being a difference from what other people do, but also learning what people do and what things are like around the world too. Each team had to explain what they are going to be learning compared to 'A World Of Difference'.

Team 1 is learning about how and what, children eat for their lunch for school and how do they travel to school too. Relating to what different things do they do and eat for when they are at school compared to what we do here in our own school.

Team 2 is exploring different  places and getting to know all about the different landmarks around the world and seeing what they can explore for their journeys.

Team 3 is focusing on something compared to The Amazing Race and visiting different places also like Team 2, and also learning things about what kind of places are there compared to where we live.

Team 4 is learning about the food we eat and where they originally come from around the world. But also which country were they're from and what kinds of food that are the same but different to what we eat.

Team 5 is all about myths and legends, learning what story's that are different in culture and knowing new things based on a true story.  Like Sina and the Eel, how this is a true story and that it still read by people and how important it is till this day.

My thoughts about having immersion assembly's is that I think it is exciting and important because knowing what we are going to be learning is going to really hook us in to learning and also knowing how fun it's going to be for a new fresh term. These assembly's are exciting to me because I can know more about the different things that happen around the world but also immersion assembly's can be funny and just making people happy around the school.
