Book Review: Amulet.Escape from Lucien: Book 6.

Book Review!

During the school holidays I am reading chapter books from 20-30 minutes a day and here is the first book iv'e read for about 4 days. Reading is very good and cool, it exercises  your brain and gives energy, also it can help you go up to a higher level in reading too. This is a comic and the name of it is Amulet: Escape from Lucien Book 6
I have found the book very interesting and cool because there are very magical things going on and people that are named the storekeepers, because they hold a special stone that gives them the power of protecting people or for no good.

Blurb:

A WORTHY MISSION . . . OR A TRAP?
Navin and his classmates journey to Lucien, a city ravaged by war and plagued
by mysterious creatures, where they search for a beacon essential to their fight against the Elf King. Meanwhile, Emily heads back into the void with Max, one of the Elf King's loyal followers, where she learns his darkest secrets. The stakes, for both Emily and Navin, are higher than ever.

Here are some new words:

These words are words that iv'e never heard before and also the meaning of each word.

1.  Plagued or trouble: Cause continual trouble or distress to.

2. Cumulonimbus :

Description

Cumulonimbus is a dense, towering vertical cloud, forming from water vapor carried by powerful upward air currents.

3. Ravaged: Severely damaged; devastated.

4. Consolation: The comfort received  by a person after a lost or disappointed.
