Task Description: It is week 2 of Term 2 and for writing, we are doing our own creations on how to make a poppy at home using things around our house. Also seeing if we can make something to do with Anzac day because it is coming up very soon. I hope you can enjoy making this poppy and trying to make one of your own too.
Materials Used:
Pencil
Scissors
Glue Stick
Stick
Red Tissue Gift Paper
Black Buttons
Instructions:
- Grab the red tissue paper and fold it 3 times.
- Draw a poppy out on it with your pencil. Make sure it is big (nearly cover the paper.
- Cut out the poppy outline and make sure there are 8 poppy flowers.
- Take your stick and wrap around 1 of the poppy papers and tape it.
- Take the rest of the poppy papers and glue stick them around as you go.
- Grab 1 black button and glue stick it in the middle of the poppy.
- Then grab your black marker and draw lots of little squiggly lines in the middle of the poppy.
