Cambodian Myth: Lighting, Thunder and Rain.

Task Description: This is our sixth and last rotation for our Myth and Legend Stories and this is all about Cambodia and we had to do a Mix and Match on a poster. Then we had a Create Task and me and my partner Terapi did a tour guide of some places in Cambodia.

Wk 5: Te Reo: Kei hea a Amo: Create Task.

Task Description: This week for Te Reo we have learnt phrases about Where is Amo? This means every time Amo is in a hiding place we have to figure out whether he is waho, roto, muri, mua, raro, runga, taha, or pouaka. There is more explanation in the presentation down below, after the learning task is a Create Task, and we had to do a comic strip, video or audio. I have done a comic strip and audio's to go with it so Ms. Tapuke can hear how I pronounce the phrases.

Information about science-

Task Description: This week Room 1 has been learning about science and scientists. We read this story and it was all about a famous scientist named Richard Owen. These are some of the words from the story that was on the last page of the book, here is some information about each word. Hope you enjoy reading my CREATE TASK, have a good day.

Anatomy- This means a study of structer or workings of something.

DNA- The genetic information inside cells that determines how a living thing will look and function a thigh bone.

Femur-A bone of the thigh, articulating at the hip and the knee.

Marrow- It is a soft fatty substance inside cavities of bones.

Missionary-A person who travels to spread their religious beliefs.

Prehistoric- Is things that were written in the past and happened in the past too.
