Pt England School Art Exposition 2020.

Today Pt England School have travelled around the school for  an Art Exposition where every student shows everyone around the school what they did for our theme this year 'Art Alive'. Everyone in the school has been preparing for the Art Expo, but also learning new things about the experience of art. 

Heading clockwise around the school we have all stood in each class and taking a look at the art around us. Everyone has done very cool art projects and everything is based on what topic each team has focused on,  with very creative art and display each student has done for this years Art Expo.

This was my last Art Exposition for all my time here at Pt England School, as for next year I am in college. This year's Art Expo was fun, cool, and also a good experience for us kids, because we can carry on that knowledge and become great artists. What great fun we have had with the Art Expo and I hope everyone has had fun and written an cool explanation about today.

The Scream.

 Task Description: We have done an art rotation for our theme Art Alive, we were in Room 1. We have drawn a version of the famous art picture 'The Scream' by the famous artist Edvard Munch. I have used different colours and different technique to draw this picture, I have used lines, and curved lines.

Element of Art - Art Alive.

For our Art Alive inquiry we have learnt the different elements of art and it is

- Line

-Shape

- Colour

- Texture

- Form

- Value 

- Space

The simplest one out of these 7 element is Line, because it could be any kind of line and lines come in all sort of ways. Down below is our worksheet we have done to show different line and emotion picture using lines too. 

Art Alive: Alberto Giacometti

 Task Description: This is our second post for our Art Alive rotations, we have moved clockwise to Room 2 and we have learnt about the famous Alberto Giacometti. I have made a slide deck all about this famous sculpture and he has made a lot of very inspired sculptures. Also I have put one of his famous work and even some important and fun facts about him and his journey.

Art Alive - Georges Seurat.

 Task Description: This afternoon we have done a poster about a famous artist named Georges Seurat. We have looked at some of his paintings  that he has painted and he  uses a special technique called "Pointillism". I have worked with Hannah and we have made this poster below together with some facts about Georges and his cool art work.
