Inquiry: Alberto Giacometti.

 Task Description: This inquiry task is about a famous sculpture, Alberto Giacometti know for famous sculptures and paintings. We have learnt so much about this famous artist and have seen some of his most expensive sculptures sold. Also telling you guys all about him and how he became a famous artist as he was growing up.

Ko wai o hoa? - Who are your friends?

Task Description: In our Maori rotation we have worked on the saying 'Ko wai o hoa?' meaning Who are your friends?. We have answered the questions given and was given a create task to do, it was to create a poster or comic strip asking who our own friends, teachers, and parents are.

Taha Tinana - Body Parts in Maori.

 Task Description: For today's Te Whare Tapa Wha, we have looked at Taha Tinana, our Physical Well being. I have done a poster with a picture of my body and I have labelled the body parts in Maori and then into English. This poster is something to do with Taha Tinana because it is helping us learn the parts of our body's and we use our body to keep us fit through exercising.

Taha Wairua - Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori.

 Task Description: This morning we looked at Taha Wairua, keeping our spiritual wellbeing alive. We have done a poster with some basic words and colours in English and translated to Maori, so people can learn some Maori language for this week and take part in Maori Culture. Also we have added some pictures to represent the words and I have coloured the big colourful words to represent the colours. 

Taha Wairua - Tongan Identity.

Task Description: This morning for our taha challenge we have done Taha Wairua. We had learn about Tongan Identity and the key words that they use in their culture of what is important.

Tongan Proverb.

Task Description: A fast inquiry post about Tongan Proverbs. We had to pick a proverb and draw a picture based on the proverb that we've chosen.

The Amazonina Mermaid - Brazilian Mythology.

Task Description: For social studies this week we had to choose a country from North and South America and pick a myth from that country. This is Task 1 and we had to include the flag of the country, the population till today, the key people in the pick we've picked, the language spoken, and a map marked on the country.

Marine Biomes.

Task Description: For today's home class work we have learnt about 1 particular biome and it was the Marine Biome. We had to find a definition of what biome is and then we watched a video just up the Marine Biome part, then learnt  different types of biomes that are in the Marine Biome. After that we listed some things down from the video and then made a poster of what is inside the Marine Biome and what inside of all that.

Definition: 

A biome is a community of plants and animals that have common characteristics for the environment they exist in. They can be found over a range of continents. Biomes are distinct biological communities that have formed in response to a shared physical climate.

Here is the definition from (Wikipedia) about biomes. 

Marine Biome: (Largest Biome)

- 70% - Salt water is covered around the earths surface.

- There are  over 230,000 animals living in the marine biome.

- Like fish, octupus, turtles, sea horses, seals, the blue whale, and much much more.

-All live in grow in the ocean

- Polips make the coral reef graduate bigger, (after polips die then next generation comes).

Fresh Water Biome:

(Filled with water that has a low of salt water.)

-Sea creature can not survive in the fresh water but in the salt water.

- Ponds, lakes, rivers are all in the fresh water biome.

Wk 4: Inquiry: The Hydrosphere.

Task Description: This is our inquiry task for the day and we have done a little task to go with it. This is all about the Hydrosphere and it's all about the water in the world. The task at the bottom is a little poster of some facts about the Hydrosphere. We are learning about the living world and getting to know the important things about the earth.

Task Description: Here is our inquiry for our home class and we have done a poster about what taha you would like to do. I chose Taha Tinana and I have done 3 things about this Taha, I have done healthy food, fitness, and sports.

Task Description: For our inquiry we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and we have been making up a poem that is all about 2 taha's. Taha Tinana and Taha Whanu are the 2 that Delijah and I have decided to do. Our poem rymes and I think we have done a great job with it!.

Task Description: Here is our presentation of what is Te whare tapa wha and we have been learning all about for this past term. Task Description: Today we had inquiry and we had to finish of our site work from  last week, but if we have finished we can do a fact slide about a animal. So I did a animal in the sea and it's called a Great White Shark, we had to do some facts about that animal so I did 6 about the great white shark. Octopus and Zebrafish

Task Description: Today Team 5 have been learning about genomics, and today Room 3 has done a presentation about Octopus and Zebrafish. We had to watch 4 videos and see what we have learnt in those videos and answer the question on the other slides. First we had to answer the questions and then do create a poster about each animal, so then when we have finished we post it to our blog.

Paige - My Career Journey.

Have you ever done a Career Malaga sheet before?
Well I have and I am going to be telling you about my sheet right here. So as you can see that here is a little photo a about my career path. Also just to be sure if you have done one of these please comment your's down below.


This is my career path sheet and in the middle is a big shield of all my interest, skills, values, and qualities. So this part of the paper is called the words of wisdom and they are about the 4 things I just wrote earl-yr. Then it just means that I need to write  down what are some of things that I am good at. It is also telling me to write down what my dreams and aspiration are for when I grow up. But so far I have a respectful teacher, a good singer and I would want to live in Rarotonga. The reason why I would want to do all of these things is because I would to try more thing and have more other thing in my life to.

' On the the top left corner is a box that says to write down the things you need to be in all the things you would to be. So saying like to choose the right subjects for each thing you want to do in the future. You would also have to write down how much money you would get every year or every hour. Then once you have done that you could move on to the next one. Which says you useful subject. So that means you would have to think about some subject you would have to study to have that job.
