Paige - Compound Sentences: FANBOYS.

The wrong Sentence: 10. Moana is my favourite movie.  Moana is showing at the
Pt. England Reserve on Friday.

The write Sentence: 10. Moana is my favourite movie, and on Friday Moana
is showing at    
the Pt England Reserve at 7:00 pm.

In Room 1 literacy we did writing about Compound Sentences and we were
trying
to make 2 sentences combined
together by using the FANBOYS words.
The word FANBOYS stand for a word of every letter and they stand for For,
And, Nor, But, Or, You, and So.
We had to pick one sentence to do a blog post about and I chose Sentence 10.
In the red writing it was the one that we had to correct to make it write.
In the blue writing it is the one where I corrected it and made it make sense.
While using the compound sentence we had to put them in our sentences to
make right.
From the FANBOYS word bank I used the word so in my sentence to make
everything right.

WALT: Using FANBOYS to write compound sentences

Task Description: This is a piece of writing that Room 1 have done today.
Mrs Moala gave us some writing that we could correct using the FANBOYS.
After we have done that we chose one sentence we want to describe and write
about how we corrected it and what word we used from FANBOYS.
