Information about it:
- The Kalahari Desert is a large semi-arid sandy savanna in Southern Africa extending for 900,000 square kilometres
- The only permanent river that flows through the desert is the Okavango River. The Kalahari desert is home to many big cats including lions, cheetahs or leopards.
- It is the 6th biggest desert by area on Earth and the second biggest in Africa after the Sahara
Why people should go visit it:
Because it could be a new experience for people or you might have been there. So I think it would be very hot but it could be fun in some other way.
