350 of oil had been split into the sea.
Why is the article called What a Disaster?
Because there was a big huge mess in Mount Maunganui and there were piousness oil on the beach too.
Do you think this oil spill will still be causing problems for sea creatures?
Yes
Why do you think this was such a terrible accident?
This was a big huge disaster because the fuil black oil is killing sea life and make Mount Maunganui beach a mess.
What is something that we could try and do to prevent this happening again?
Putting half of the containers on another Rena boat so it is not that heavy while going across the water.
