Myths&Legends Passport.
Task Description: A few weeks ago we learnt about 6 different myths&legends and we had a passport with us as we travelled to different countries (classes). With our passports as we learnt about the myth or legend we had to write interesting facts about what the myth or legend was about. Also we had to write in here what our favourite one yet was and I have picked the Cambodian Mythology myth and it's on my blog too.
Time for decimals.
WALT: Working co-operative with others in small groups.
Task Description: Another maths task for the week and I worked independantly as it is lock down here in Auckland, so yes, we are staying in our homes for a bit. For this task we have done decimals, including subtract and addition, we had to fill in the missing spots too and answer all questions.

Year 8 Leadership Camp - Kauaranga Valley.
Photo's:
It was Wednesday 5th of August when the year 8’s were going camp and the year 7’s were having their Step Up Programme. From Wednesday to Friday we all have experienced new things of being a leader and showing what great year 7 and 8’s we all are.
There were 4 teams and the names were Kauaranga, Kauri, Thames, and Coromandel, we arrived at Thames and our camp took place at Kauaeranga Valley Cristian Camp (KVCC).
Our last night was all about our camp concert and we each did an item whether it was a play, a dance, or chants. Two teams came second which was Coromandel and Kauri, and Thames and Kauaranga came third, we each got some candy and shared it between our teams.
My highlights:
- Trying new things are becoming fears. F.E.A.R: False, Evidence, Appearing, and Real.
- Activities we did and they were:
- Paintball
- Archery
- Rope Games
- Go karts
- Air Rifles
- Gym/Sports
- Railway Jiggers
- BMX Bikes
Favourite ones were Go Karts and Gym/Sports because they were fun and very cool to do. Especially Go Karts because i’ve never done Go Karts before and I think it was a very good experience for me to do.
- The Food that we ate:
- Breakfasts: Cereal, Porridge, Toast
- Lunch: Hot dog’s/Chips/Salad, Sandwiches/snack/fruit
- Dinners: Nachos, Butter Chicken
- Desserts: Ice-cream, Apple Crumble, Brownies

- Paige (Me)
- Pisirina
- Delijah
- Leilani
- Sonnia
- Marika
- Tha Zin
- Terapi
- Efe-lata

I had so much fun in my dorm, lots of laughs, talks, and much more. We even had some snacks going on and games too, but on the first night we all just hung out in each other's beds and talked about our day and we even watched a movie with the whole camp.
