My Goals For 2020!.

Task Description: Here is 2 paragraphs about my goals for the year and every year. I have also done a text graphic with a quote from my writing and put it on a image that supports my goals. I hope you enjoy reading and looking, also have a wonderful day.

My goals for 2020 are to improve my grades, achieve 2020, learn new things, to finish my work every week and at least post 3 times a week. The reason why I chose these kinds of goals is because I think it’s something that I need to do for each year I’m in school. Also I can carry them and achieve each goal through, as 2020 goes on.

Some other goals are for me at home, so like doing things without being told, helping out around the house, and also to be a role model for my younger siblings. I need to keep in mind that these are my goals for every single year in my life, and I also need to step up a bit more and improve heaps.

Estuary Health Check.

Task Description: This is our reading task for the week and we are reading and doing the book about Estuary Health Check. It is about cockles when the people from the story go out and count how many cockle are there, also to see if they are safe. I hope you enjoy looking and reading what we have written down in the coloured boxes.

Being a good daughter.

WALT:Structure the explanation.

Task Description: This is our writing for the week and we had to put this writing for unorganised to organised and this was not our writing but the intro and the information 4 was. We had to rewrite the intro and element 4 and also put the other paragraph in order. The yellow highlights are the connectives and the blue, green, pink is the S.E.E format. I hope you enjoy reading and have a wonderful day.

This introduction is about you being a good daughter to your parents to show them you love them. For example by doing this you should listen to them so they don’t have to call you 3 or 5 times because if they did you would be in trouble. If you have a great attitude to your parents they will have a great attitude back to you so please if I were you I would   listen so in the end you’d get to play with your friends or do whatever you want.

It is very important to always show kindness towards your parents. Although this can be difficult at times, it is important to show kindness to your parents because it shows that you respect them. For example, when you really want to go somewhere with your friends and your parents tell you that you have to stay home and look after your little siblings, it is important to remember that your parents have your best interests in mind.

Another way to be a good daughter is to talk nicely to your parents. By telling them how much you appreciate them, and answering back in a positive manner you are showing your parents how much they mean to you.  When your parents ask you to do something it is important that you listen and respond in a timely and respectful manner. For example, when mum asks you to put away the laundry, you should immediately respond by saying, “yes mum” as you stand up and put the laundry away without a scowl on your face.

Another way to show that you are a good daughter is by your actions.  By being helpful around the house you are showing your parents that you respect them. For example, when you keep your bed made and your room clean you are showing that you respect your living space. This also comes into play when you complete your chores without being asked. So, when you wake up in the morning or get home from school, immediately vacuum the house, put away the dishes and take out the rubbish.

When it comes to you and your parents make sure to do what you’re  told and do the things without being told all the time. Like when you have a shower everyday and don’t go until you are told, then you are not listening very well. For example if they see you playing a game and they tell you to go wash the dishes, and you don’t go after the 10th call then you won’t get to play again until you respond to your parents.

Anyone has the ability to be a good daughter. By showing kindness, listening to your parents, and being helpful you are showing your parents that you love and respect them. What else can you do in your life to be a good daughter?

Alison&Paige - SEE Writing

Element 1- Picking Up Rubbish

People need to start picking up rubbish when they see any on the ground or anywhere else. Why we need to pick up rubbish is because we need to keep our sea animals safe and the environment clean. For example, when you are at the beach and you are having lunch, your rubbish might drop on the ground and it will fly away and go into the sea, then the sea animals will die just because of our rubbish.

Element 2- chuck it in the right bin

The reason why we must chuck it in the right bin is for those who collect our rubbish can know which  is the right orderOur Environment helps us breathe including our trees because we live in a world of nature and life.  My example to you all is to put your rubbish in the right bin at all times to keep our environment clean and safe.

Element 3- Don’t just do it at school (home, streets)

When picking up rubbish, you don’t just do it at school, you also do it around your house or on the streets. Like when you see rubbish anywhere like school, home, or the street you just pick it up and put it in the bin. For example, when people walk past and don’t pick up the rubbish that they see every time then rubbish will go everywhere and make a big mess around the world.

Element 4- teach others

We teach others so they could have a brighter future and explore the wonders of this world. We teach those who have the capability of showing us how they could listen and respect us then we will do what we can to help you learn. My example is that you do your best to try and keep up with your class and learn as much as you can so you can know what to do when you move up a level.

Task Description: This writing task is about rubbish and we used the SEE writing format to write it. Each paragraph explains each element and we have used a statement, explanation, and a example. Each paragraph has 3 colours on the sentences, and so the blue sentence is about the statement, the green is about the explanation, and the pink is for the example. Hope you enjoy reading our SEE Writing paragraphs and may you have a good day.
Bye bye
