Digital License Assembly.

On Tuesday the 30th of May there was a special Digital License Assembly for only the year 5 ,6 , 7, and 8 students were going. There were 3 teams and those teams are called the Dominators, Crushers, and the Smashers. Also there were adults 1 adult got to be in 1 team and their names are Mr Wiseman, Martin, and stephanie Davis. But the last person was amazing he was  on the Bachelor Show and Xfactor he was the MC and his name was Dominic Bowden. All the teams were doing a quiz and Dominic was asking them questions about Cyber Smart. When they finished the quiz all of the teams nearly got tied but….. The Crushers won!.But all of them got a prize any way. They each got a watch it was pretty cool and it was all finish. After all of that the kapa haka group sang songs while the classes went out. Also we all got a badge each and a sticker each it was very FUN!.

Help Were Stranded On A Island.

On a very sunny day there were 4  cousins named Myjoy, Izac, Bronson and me Paige going on a plane to Paris for a  summer holiday.


Then it was night time and when they looked out of the window there was a lightning coming right ahead of them. When the lightning hit the plane  the 4 cousins fell out of the plane and landed on top of each other on a island. After they had landed on a island they were very freacked out because when they landed on that island it was night time still. So they  just made a shelter. Myjoy got some sticks, Izac got some big leaves, then Bronson got some flax and started to rip some little ropes to tie everything together and Paige helped with everybody. After they made their shelter they all went to sleep. The next day they were finding a way to create something to get back home and they thinked and thinked and thinked till Paige came up with a brilliant idea. She thought if all of them could make a very big boat for all of them to fit in to get back to land.

Then they started to make their boat with everything that the found on the island. After when they finished their boat they were so proud of themselves and then they got all of their stuff and started to row back to land. When they finally got back to land they were so happy to be back home. The End

Technology and Now That's Thinking.

This term we are learning about technology and the school’s topic is Now That’s Thinking. They were talking about how had old chromebook’s to new chromebook’s. Then Mr Somerville told and showed us a very little robot that do like cods on your chromebook's. What is technology? technology is when humans make thing for us to make life easier.

I think we will learn about how maori technology has changed over time. For example in hyperstudio we a learning about how fishing and sailing changed.

I would  like to learn about….. car technology.
