Day 3: Activity 1&2- Let's Start Travelling.

Task Description: For today we had to start from Rangitoto Island, then move to Karekare, then Tane Mahuta and see all the different things about these 3 places. We had to go on the New Zealand Map and mark where in New Zeland the 3 places we just talked about are. Then we had to select one place out of the 3 that we enjoyed the most online. So I picked Tane Mahuta and it is at the bottom of the maps, explaining why.

ELJ- Day 2- Activity 1&2: My Flag Of Hope.

Task Description: Here is Day 2 and activity 1&2 is one task, what we had to do is create a flag that represents hope to all of New Zealand, and to also let everyone know that there is hope in all of us. Also we had to do some words describing our flag and so I did a word art. Next up what a brief explanation about our flag and what is our design, and also what inspired us.




Here are some words that describes my flag of hope.

What inspired me? This inspired me to spread the word of having faith in each other, to love one another, and always having hope in yourself no matter where you are in the world.

What is it? On the New Zealand flag I have recreated a new one and it has three special symbols combined as one, they are faith, hope, and love. The first symbol starting is faith, then leading to an H or L is represented as hope, then the last one is a heart and it is love because hearts are always love. So all of it together means faith, hope, love and it is a symbol for all people to know that this is a good thing to have as part of your life.  

ELJ Day 1: Activity 1- Mihi.

Task Description: This Easter Holiday Team 5 has started a Easter Learning Journey and we have 10 days full of activities and we also have to earn pint for each one. Now each day has 2-3 activities and you have to complete them but also publish it, and complete a survey for each one. This is my 1st activity and it is about what I would take with me while traveling around Aotearoa, so I would call my special object, it is my book and I'm explaining it in the next paragraph.

The reason why I picked this book is because I think it is very interesting and funny, but also long. This book was for Christmas and I think it will keep me occupied in reading through the whole way but not too much, also it would be a very good idea to learn along the way.  It is very important to keep on reading everyday to keep up your reading skill and you never know what could the book bring to your day. That's why I have this brilliant book by my side and it would be a very good time to read even though it is not school time.

ELJ- Day 1 - Activity 2: 3 Facts about New Zealand.

Task Description: This is our 2nd post of the day and we had to pick 3 facts from this New Zealand Facts Site and read out aloud so we understand it and know more about it when the times come to speak about this. Hope you enjoy reading them and I hope you could have a check up on the site.

Kiwis have developed an interest for the outside and a Kiwis have been exploring and inventing things ever since Sir Ernest Rutherford broke the atom early in the twentieth century. Some of these designs were made in a backyard literally.  While our most popular kiwi creations are frozen beef, the Hamilton Jet boat and bungy jump, also many other things.n in activities that benefit from both the beautiful landscape for the same reason that many people come to New Zealand.
