Taha Hinengaro - Hikitia te Ha.

Task Description: This morning we have looked at Taha Hinengaro, our emotional well being. Our task was to  watch  this video and copy what the people are doing, this is called Hikitia te Ha. Then we've given 3 reasons why we think this can help us.

3 ways it may help with our Taha Hinengaro:

1. The Hikitia te Ha help us stay focused in our work and what we do.

2. This can help clear our minds and let all the negativity go out of our minds so we can relax.

3. It can let us breath and it can put us into our comfort zone.

Maori Language Moment.

In 1972, 30,000 signatures were delivered to parliament safeguard the Maori Language.

3 reasons why I think it needed to be protected?

1. The language is starting to fade and be lost.
2. In schools Te Reo Maori wasn't valued as much.
3. So it could be used in the future.
