Te Whare Tapa Wha: Taha Hinengaro.

Task Description: For today's Taha Challenge we are doing Taha Hinengaro and this means Mental Health emotions. Nina Showed us a way to clear our mind and it was to just meditate, and she also had some relaxing music playing in the background. Here are 5 ways you can do to clear your mind.

Five different way's that I can clear my mind:
- Prayer
- Play relaxing music
- Sit in my room and sit quietly
- Looking at photos of the people I love
- Meditating and moving my arms around to calm down.

Why is it Important?
Because it clear your mind from other things that are happening in your family, and for example if you fight to much there is a time where you can sit in a quite spot and sit in silence for a few minute. But knowing that this is very important for you and your mind to refresh and restart so that you can stay healthy and well.

  1. Good on you Paige. I really like your list of things to do that help to clear your mind. You show that you are listening well in class as well as thinking more deeply about yourself and how you think through things. You are certainly a good example for your peers. You are very calm and thoughtful when often your peers are louder and in a rush to get things done. Keep up the great role modelling you are carrying out daily. So proud of you!
