Fraction Group Problems.

Miss Szymanik brought 15 puzzles for her class. ⅕ of the puzzles were for 10 -  12 year olds. How many of the puzzles were for 10 - 12 year olds?

It is asking us to figure out how many puzzles can go to the 10-12 year olds

15 divided by 5 = 3
Then we can go 5 x 3 =15












Answer:       3 of the puzzles were for 10 - 12 year olds.
